Outback Regional Gallery

Welcome to the Outback Regional Gallery in Winton, the heart of Western Queensland.

This, the first purpose-built Art Gallery west of the Great Divide, opened in 1998, with images of Australia, a million-dollar exhibition of paintings from the Queensland Art Gallery, including works by Streeton, McCubbin, Roberts, Drysdale, Olsen, Nolan and Molvig.

The Gallery program includes work by local and regional artists, as well as nationally touring exhibitions.

New sponsors announced for Woollam Waltzing Matilda Outback Art Show 2010.
The Gallery is delighted to announce Woollam Constructions as the Principal Sponsor for the Woollam Waltzing Matilda Outback Art Show 2010. Woollams are strong supporters of community projects in outback Queensland, where they have constructed a number of major facilities, including the Australian Stockman's Hall of Fame.  The Gallery also acknowledges arts patron Brian Tucker from BrianTuckerAccounting and Winton Shire Council as Supporting Sponsors.
