A changing schedule of exhibitions and displays in this room ensures that there is always something fresh and new for the visitor to experience

Have a look and you will find a bottle for every occasion, drink bottles, perfume bottles, water filtering and ornamental bottles to fit on your shelf.

This Locomotive was donated to the museum by Queensland Rail and is adjacent to the old Chorregon Railway Siding, which from 1927 until January 1987 was one of the principal sidings situated on the Winton - Longreach Railway Line.

The cottage was moved to the present site as part of the Winton Bi-Centennial Programme and was opened by Richard Magoffin on 21st May,1988.

This building was opened by Councillor Eric Lenton on 24th April,1993 and was the fifth building commissioned by the Historical Society.

The Jeffery Quad was one of the most unusual and versatile motor vehicles ever built. "It drives, steers and brakes on all four wheels" and was the fitting slogan for the Quad.

On entering this room you will find a time-line which starts on your right and extends right around the room.

This display has an interesting selection of vintage horse drawn vehicles, early model motor vehicles and even a horse or tractor drawn grader.
